General Information

Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Swiss Confederation (Federal Act on Data Protection, FADP), every person has the right to protection of their privacy and protection against misuse of their personal data. The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

In cooperation with our hosting providers, we make every effort to protect the databases as well as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or falsification.

Please note that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by email) may have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of data in accordance with the following description. This website can generally be visited without registration. Data such as accessed pages or file names, date and time are stored on the server for statistical purposes without being directly related to your person. Personal data, in particular name, address, or email address, are collected on a voluntary basis where possible. No data will be passed on to third parties without your consent.

Processing of Personal Data

Personal data refers to all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. A data subject is a person whose personal data is processed. Processing includes any handling of personal data, regardless of the means and procedures used, in particular the storage, disclosure, collection, deletion, saving, modification, destruction, and use of personal data.

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. Where and insofar as the GDPR applies, we process personal data based on the following legal bases pursuant to Article 6(1) GDPR:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): The data subject has given consent to the processing of personal data for one or more specific purposes.

  • Performance of a contract and pre-contractual inquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or for pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject.

  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): Processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

  • Vital interests (Art. 6(1)(d) GDPR): Processing is necessary to protect vital interests of the data subject or another natural person.

  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): Processing is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by the controller or a third party, unless overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

  • Application procedures (Art. 9(2)(b) GDPR): Where special categories of personal data are processed in the context of job applications, processing is carried out in accordance with applicable GDPR provisions. If processing is based on voluntary consent, Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR applies.

Personal data is processed only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Where statutory retention obligations exist, processing is restricted accordingly.

Applicable Legal Bases

In accordance with Article 13 GDPR, we inform you of the legal bases for our data processing. If not explicitly mentioned, the following applies:

  • Consent: Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 7 GDPR

  • Contractual performance and inquiries: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR

  • Legal obligations: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR

  • Legitimate interests: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR

  • Vital interests: Art. 6(1)(d) GDPR

Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures in accordance with legal requirements, taking into account the state of the art, implementation costs, nature, scope, circumstances, and purposes of processing, as well as the likelihood and severity of risks to the rights and freedoms of natural persons.

These measures include ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data through access controls, data entry controls, disclosure controls, availability controls, and separation controls. We also maintain procedures to ensure the exercise of data subject rights, data deletion, and response to data breaches. Data protection is taken into account already during the development or selection of hardware, software, and processes (privacy by design and privacy by default).

Personal data may be transferred to third parties such as IT service providers or providers of integrated website services. In such cases, we comply with legal requirements and conclude appropriate data protection agreements with recipients.
